Was William born to Thomas and Sarah in or around July 1779? There is a gap in the Bishop's Transcripts for Christenings in Bottisham in July and August of that year.
There would have been sufficient time for William's conception and gestation following the birth of the second Bridget Briton daughter (as she was baptised at the end of 1778).
